The Society will have a stand at this years Ploughing event in Ratheniska, Stradbally, Co.Loais.
We will have a display of Beef Shorthorn animals from the Show circuit and a display of Commercial crosses the progeny of a Beef Shorthorn bull out of Limousin cross cows. We have a selection of Beef Flyers on a range of bulls, from New Bulls for 2015, to the best Maternal Bulls, Easy Calving bulls, Gene Ireland bulls, a flyer on Terminal bulls and also Beef Shorthorn bulls suitable for use in Dairy herds. On the Milking display we have a selection of cows all classified EX.
We will have a raffle for a Beef Shorthorn Heifer, tickets for sale on the stand.
Also we would like to remind our members to return their draw cards a.s.a.p. as the draw will take place on the Thursday afternoon. Our stand is situated in Block 3 Stand NO.LS21 in the Livestock Section. We look forward to meeting all our members old and new over the three days. Please call in for a chat, everyone most welcome.
