About the Herd: The Sliabhbhui herd of Shorthorn cattle was founded in 1996 with the purchase of two Highfield heifers and a Nohoval cow. Over the years all bulls used were carefully selected. No blended blood has been used. To avoid blending Grousehall Prince, Eionmor Mr Gus, Ingleton and Sliabhbhui Prince 2nd bred many progeny on the farm, and many other top class A.I. Bulls were used. Every year there are yearlingd, heifers and bulls for sale, both pedigree and Shorthorn/Limousin cross heifers. All stock are sold on the farm.
