About the Herd: Welcome to Lismacool Shorthorns . Breeding pedigree shorthorn cattle started here about ten years ago. Shorthorn cattle are well known for their docility, milk and longevity. The cows we keep have plenty of milk but still have great shape but not too big as the farm is heavy and can be difficult to manage in wet years. That’s why Shorthorn cattle suit this area.

We sold a few bulls in the last few years to suckler farmers with a very positive feedback. Hopefully we will have both heifers and bulls for sale later in the year. All cows BVD and Johnes and IBR free.
