For those of you who have signed up to our 2024 Youth Development Programme, below are details of the shows which act as qualifiers. Please note you do not have to place in the top 3 or 4 to qualify for the All-Ireland Final in Elphin. Simply exhibit in a YDP class at one of the qualifiers listed and you will be eligible to attend the final.

- Limerick Show – Sunday 25th August Limerick Show – Junior Class or Limerick Show – Senior Class
Please note: Individual shows may have classes set to different ages. Please view each show schedule carefully. It is up to each individual to enter their classes at the appropriate show. Once you have competed at one of the qualifying shows you are eligible to compete at the All-Ireland Final at Elphin Show on Saturday 31st August 2024. https://elphinshow.com/

Terms & Conditions of All-Ireland:
Each participant who wishes to show and attend the final at Elphin must attend a young handler’s class at one of the qualifying shows listed. All animals present at the All-Ireland Final in Elphin must have SH or SHX on their blue card.
All-Ireland Final Classes at Elphin Show: Junior Competition: Ages 8-12 must show a 2024 born calf in the final.
Senior Competition: Ages 13-17 must show an animal no older that 2023 born in the final.
