Membership Fees:
Application for membership (covers first year subscription): Which is made up of: membership fee €65.00, herd prefix fee €24.00, shareholding €1.00 €90
Annual membership fee: *€55.00 for members who pay by standing order or if renewed by March 1st each year €65

Registration Fees:
Male registration – registered within 183 days (6 months) €50
Male registration over 183 days (6 months) €100
Male animals which are not registered by the breeder/original owner and have a movement recorded on the AIMS System €150
Female registration – registered within 60 days. (€20/month penalty after 60 days) €35
Milking Shorthorn female registration fee €20
Female animals which are not registered by the breeder/original owner and have a movement recorded on the AIMS System €100
DNA Kit ordered through Society €35
Other Fees:
Importation of Pedigree data from other Herdbooks €35

Please Note:

Membership must be paid before any animal can be pedigree registered.
Membership is deemed to be lapsed if two full years’ subscriptions remain outstanding.
All lapsed members must re-apply for membership, pay for re-issue of herd prefix fee if still available if they wish to become members and be passed by Council.

From January 1, 2022 all females born in 2018 or after need to be genotyped before their first calf is registered.
All males and females born on or after 1st January 2024 must be genotyped.
To avoid late penalties, it is recommended that breeders keep a credit balance on their account.
