Q. What time is the show at?

A. The show will take place at 9am sharp on Saturday 9th November.

 

Q. What time is the sale commencing?

A. The sale is beginning at 12:30pm on Saturday 9th November.

 

Q. When can I view animals?

A. All sale animals will be available for viewing from 9am on Saturday 9th November.

 

Q. Can I watch the sale online?

A. Yes, you can watch the sale online via LSL.

 

Q. How can I bid online?

A. Please pre-register with The Midland and Western Livestock Improvement Society Limited (Carrick) by contacting: +35386-3883112. All online buyers must pre-register at a minimum of 24 hours prior to the sale.

 

Q. Are all animals tested TH free?

A. All animals have had a TH test, however, due to a delay in the lab, there may be some animals ‘pending results’. This will be in the footnote of the catalogue.

 

Q. Are animals export tested?

A. Yes, all animals are export tested.

 

Q. How can I transport my animal to Northern Ireland?

A. If you wish to purchase cattle from ROI, including the Premier Sale, you must make contact with your local Department of Agriculture office to register your herd and register as a transporter if you have means of transporting the cattle. This will allow you to export the cattle on the day of the sale and bring them straight home to your yard. This step is essential to ensure your herd and transport is on the international system for the ROI department vet to pass the animal out on the day of the sale. If this is not done then the animal is not eligible for export on the day of the sale. 

 

Q. Is there lairage available for UK buyers?

A. Yes, lairage is available at the expense of the purchaser. Please contact Richard O’Beirne for more information.

 

Q. Are animals pre-inspected?

A. Yes, all animals are pre-inspected.
